Tiffen 52mm 25 Red Optical Glass Camera Filter

The Tiffen #25 Red Filter is designed to build contrast in black and white photography and creates separation between tones. It creates dramatic skies or simulates a moonlit scene during the day by slightly underexposing the image, also eliminating fog and haze. This filter enhances infrared film with extreme contrast, turning skies even more dramatic and foliage white in landscape photos. It has a filter factor of 8, requiring a 3-stop exposure increase for compensation. Tiffen filters use ColorCore technology, laminating filter material between two pieces of optical glass, which is then ground, polished, and mounted to a metal ring.
